The Sun and Moon.

Tonight's sunset was beautiful and last nights full moon was spectacular, here are a few shots from what I saw. I must admit that I'm a little proud of the shots i got of the full moon, maybe the sharpest i've gotten and without a tripod at about 3 o'clock in the morning (too much coffee), still i'll try and get better as i learn more.

A litle CNN, Cappuccino and a tsunami.

This morning my Dad came running home from a massage a little frantic saying that the people at the spa were panicking shutting down and fleeing to the mountains. In their broken english they were saying "tsunami, go go, run tsunami coming in 20 minutes". They canceled his massage, mid-way through, shut the spa down and ran, Dad came here to the hotel not knowing whether to fallow the locals up the mountain or just head to higher ground here. The police were clearing the streets and we kept watching CNN to make sure we knew what was going on. This is a picture of mom and dad watching the coast, it got scary but in the end nothing happened.

back after six years.

I'm happy to be in a place of great rest, Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico. I haven't been here since I was a senior in high school and it feels good to come back and be able to relax. It seems to be unreal all that has taken place in those six years, both in this town and in my life. As I'm reaquanting myself with the town i've barely been able to keep my eye away from my camera, here is just a sample of the already hundreds of photos I've taken so far.

Late Night Lights

I couldn't sleep until sunrise, so I started playing with lighting. Not much to show out of it, but i had fun.
